จุดมุ่งหมายของหลักสูตร (Curriculum Aims)

จุดมุ่งหมายของหลักสูตร  หมายถึง  ความตั้งใจหรือความคาดหวังที่ต้องการให้เกิดขึ้นในตัวผู้ที่จะผ่านหลักสูตรจุดมุ่งหมายของหลักสูตรมีความสำคัญเพราะเป็นตัวกำหนดทิศทางและขอบเขตในการศึกษาแก่เด็กช่วยในการเลือกเนื้อหาและกิจกรรม  ตลอดจนใช้เป็นมาตรการอย่างหนึ่งในการประเมินผล                    จุดมุ่งหมายของการศึกษามีหลายของระดับ  ได้แก่  จุดมุ่งหมายหลายระดับหลักสูตรซึ่งเป็นจุดมุ่งหมายที่บอกให้ผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องรู้เป้าหมายของหลักสูตรนั้นๆ  จุดมุ่งหมายของกลุ่มวิชา  วิชาแต่ละกลุ่มจะสร้างคุณลักษณะที่แตกต่างกันให้กับผู้เรียนดั้งนั้นแต่ละกลุ่มวิชาจึงมีจุดมุ่งหมายไว้ต่างกัน  จุดมุ่งหมายรายวิชาเป็นจุดหมายที่ละเอียดจำเพาะเจาะจงกว่าจุดมุ่งหมายกลุ่มวิชา   ผู้สอนกลุ่มรายวิชาจะกำหนดจุดมุ่งหมายในการสอนเนื้อหาแต่ละบทแต่ละตอนขึ้นในรูปของจุดมุ่งหมายเชิงพฤติกรรม แม้ว่าจุดมุ่งหมายทางการศึกษาจะมีระดับดังกล่าวแล้วจุดมุ่งหมายหลายระดับย่อมสอดคล้องกันและนำไปสู่จุดหมายปลายทางเดียวกัน Curriculum Aims                     The purpose of the course is to give the intent or expectation of the person to pass the course.
